The Ashland Springs Hotel offers a unique historical charm right in the heart of downtown, making it extraordinarily convenient for guests wanting easy access to local attractions and eateries. While the staff provided excellent service and the lobby creates a warm first impression, some rooms felt dated and in need of improvements. Breakfast options left room for enhancement, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the delightful ambiance and remarkable staff made for an enjoyable stay overall.

Rooms

The room we stayed in was designated as a Junior Suite; however, it was surprisingly small, lacking a dresser and fridge, and the bathroom layout was awkward.

The hotel is perfectly situated downtown, making it easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, which was a huge plus.
Dining

The breakfast was just okay; it featured basic options like toast and hard-boiled eggs, which didn't quite meet expectations for a hotel of this caliber.

While the hotel retains a charming historical feel, the renovations needed in some areas could significantly enhance the guest experience.

Our stay at Ashland Springs Hotel was a delightful experience, marked by an exceptionally welcoming staff, a wonderful dining experience, and a great location right in downtown. The rooms were charming but slightly outdated, and while it offered great value overall, there were minor areas that could use improvements, particularly in the facilities. Nevertheless, the character and warmth of this historical hotel made our visit memorable.

8.4/10

I had a lovely time at Ashland Springs Hotel, which is set in a perfect location for exploring downtown. The ambiance is fantastic, and the charming historical character of the hotel adds to the experience. While the rooms are cozy, some may find them a bit too small for comfort, especially when maneuvering luggage. The dining options were satisfactory, but I feel there’s room for improvement in breakfast variety. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and I would definitely return for the inviting atmosphere and great staff.

Rooms

The Ashland Springs Hotel has a charming historical ambiance and is located conveniently near various attractions, making it easy to explore the local area. While the staff was friendly and accommodating, the room sizes could be much larger and the breakfast experience was lacking. The dining at their restaurant was reasonably good but could definitely be improved for a more satisfying experience. Overall, it has its quirks but has potential to be a great stay.

Rooms

The service here was upbeat and helpful, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast was a highlight! However, I did notice some areas needing attention, like the condition of my room. Overall, it's a great choice for exploring Ashland.
